JA Careers In Skilled Trades™

Piloting in fall of 2024!

JA Careers In Skilled Trades™, a digital career module, will introduce students in 5th-8th grades to career pathways, illustrate what professions align with their skills and interests and highlight technical skills essential to all professions.

 

The program will be launched as a pilot in the Pittsburgh area to 100 area schools.

 

What Makes This Program Unique?

• The program utilizes gamification strategies to help students identify career clusters of interest
• The program will help students better match their interests and skills with careers that are high-growth, and high-demand.  
• The program will serve as a feeder system into industry and trade-specific training and certificate programs.
